FAIRYELLA ICE POPS, created by Benician Kimberli Haris and named for a character in her mother’s poems, are now being sold in many Whole Foods Markets, including San Francisco Franklin, the flagship store, as well as those in Fremont, Napa, Sonoma, Oakland and Campbell.

Haris also will participate in a vendor event May 30 in Campbell.

In 2013, she published her mother’s poem stories about the tooth fairy, named Fairyella, and a dragonfly.

Then, after her mother contracted cancer, Haris was inspired to develop healthier meals and treats. She developed her ice pops using sustainable produce with no stabilizers or additives, from juices frozen on a stick.

Encouraged to sell them, she started her business with a decorated vehicle and offered them through area businesses and at events.
